You REALLY shouldn't have multiple party members with afflictions.

I dunno, I'm starting to lose interest by fabio, 4:32pm PST In the hamlet, click the book icon on the lower-right. I'm mostly enjoying it by fabio, 1:56am PST I am really liking this game! by Mischief Maker, 7:36pm PSTĬan u buy me it NT by pinback, 11:16am PST It feels like they could have doubled the rate of XP gain and then the pace would be right. Also once you unlock bosses, you quickly run out of easy level 1 dungeon runs for recruits because the boss quest ends up taking over the level 1 slot. You can't even really have new characters tag along with veterans for higher level dungeon runs because any character below that dungeon's minimum level is going to be crippled with exponentially higher stress damage, leading to an affliction which is going to inflict stress damage on your more valuable veteran characters. As far as I can tell, there is no way to boost the rate of xp gain. It would have been fine for a 1-2 hour campaign, but not for 15+. I'm fine with the idea of a Rogue-like with high meatgrinder casualty rates, but not when it's coupled with such a sloooooooow level advancement trying to get new characters up to speed. Other than that, the XP grind is really getting to me. Rather than lose valuable party members or grind out more runs while they recover, I almost just want to break out the walkthrough before every boss fight and where's the fun in that? On the other hand, doing the most obvious thing (killing the small pig in the Swine Prince battle) leads to an instant party wipe. On one hand, it was neat that status stuff like Marked & damage reduction were finally useful, or that bleed and blight finally had enough time to pay off.
